Amari Murray (she/her) is a Brooklyn-born poet and Purchase College graduate with a B.A. in Creative Writing. She began writing poetry at age eight and published her first poem in high school. Her work is in the 2021 Girls Write Now Unmuted Anthologu and elsewhere.

Tina Nakae lives in a valley in southern Washington where the cows outnumber the people. She spends her time adventuring in the surrounding woods conjuring up ideas to put into her poetry. Her poems have appeared in local newspapers and Mad Persona Literary Magazine. This spring her poetry will appear in two anthologies. She also loves to read aloud at local events to celebrate the power of words.

A writer, traveler and researcher based in Ahmedabad, India, Priya Narayanan’s poems and stories have found home in various anthologies and literary journals. In a parallel universe, she is an interior architect straddling the professional and academic worlds of design with equal passion.

Valerie Nieman spent weeks solo hiking in Scotland to complete research for Upon the Corner of the Moon, the story of the young Macbeths. She is the author of six other novels, a short fiction collection, and three poetry books. A graduate of West Virginia University and Queens University of Charlotte, she was a journalist in West Virginia and a college professor in North Carolina.

Shirani Rajapakse is a poet and short story writer from Sri Lanka. She has authored eight books, seven of which have either won or been placed in national and international awards. Her work is published in international journals and anthologies and is translated into several languages.

This project began with bookbinding, its tactility, its quiet rituals, and the invisible labor that holds a book together. The more I worked with this imagery, the more I realized how naturally it aligned with the ways voices are silenced, preserved, or forcibly rearranged in the political climate of the contemporary United States. Bookbinding became a metaphor and a mechanism.

Laura Ann Reed is a Contributing Editor with The Montréal Review. Her poems have appeared in nine anthologies, as well as in numerous journals. Tabassam Shah is a Southeastern Pennsylvania poet who centers eco-poetics, social justice and sense of place in her writing. Her debut poetry collection, Red & Crescent Moons, reflects upon Pakistani American life in Appalachia. A Highlights Foundation scholarship recipient, she is working on children's picture books about Pakistani American childhood.

Nokwanda Sihlali is a South African poet whose work engages with themes of feminism, land justice, and resistance to gender-based violence. Her writing is informed by her background in socio-legal research and community advocacy, through which she centres the lived experiences of women and rural communities. Through her poetry, she explores the intersections of personal memory and social struggle.

Megan Skelly is a poet, writing professor, yoga instructor, and supporter of survivors everywhere. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the City College of New York, where she was awarded the Jerome Lowell DeJur Prize in Poetry and the Teacher-Writer Award. Her work has appeared in Whitman on Walls (WoW!) Anthology: Volume 2, The Marbled Sigh, Sixfold, OyeDrum, and (Re) An Ideas Journal.

Catherine Avery St. Jean grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, the oldest of eight in a family where art was the most cherished pastime. After a 30-year career in advertising and marketing, she returned to painting and poetry in St. Augustine. She is the author of four poetry collections and serves as President of the St. Augustine Art Association. And served 8 years on the County's Library Advisory Board.

Krystle May Statler (she/her) is a Black-multiracial interdisciplinary artist living in Portland, OR and is the author of Prayer for Relief (2024). Alys Traylor is a poet, writer and journalist in North Carolina. Traylor is a 2025 CHS Poet Laureate Finalist, the 2025 2nd place winner for the Orange County Pauli Murry Contest, and 2026 Poetry In Plain Sight feature, and the Celebrator of Original Works and Co-Social Causes Lead of the CHS Poetic Justice League. Sarah Trembath is on faculty in the American University Writing Studies Program and is executive director of AU's Antiracist Research and Policy Center. She is widely published across indie presses and reviews books for the Washington Independent Review of Books. She is also a mom, Philadelphia Eagles fan, and social justice activist concerned about propaganda and the rise of the far-right. Jenna R. Xue is a proud feminist, author, thespian, singer, cinephile, and aspiring playwright-screenwriter born and raised in Southeast Pennsylvania. Currently an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University double-majoring in Writing Seminars and Film & Media Studies with a minor in Theater Arts & Studies, she creates stories, scripts, and poems that advocate, unify, celebrate, and inspire.

Kathrine Yets holds a variety of educational roles, teaching ages 6 through 60 for over a decade with different schools, colleges, universities, and organizations (including her own LakeSide Poets & Writers) in Wisconsin.

A multi-year Fellow of the National Endowment for the Arts, Ms Young's writing languages a depth of perception informed by a career as a dance artist. The soloist in Stevie Wonder’s music video, Ribbon in the Sky, and choreographer-dancer for filmmaker Julie Dash’s film, Four Women, her newest essay, “Arabesque | an art of connections," will be published in Coreopsis Journal of Myth & Theater.
